Apprentice Video is an open source audio/video player, which can also display photos. This player provides several performance options to enable adequate video playback on slow hardware; it features skip loop filter, skip non-reference frames, skip color converter, etc. It can also reduce playback speed to accommodate slow video decoding.
Apprentice Video comes with in/out point looping, alpha channel preview, flat hierarchical searchable playlist, automatic playlist bookmarks, and other useful features.
